Bart Wyrick is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Country Club Trust Company (CCTC). A seasoned business executive with more than two decades of experience in the financial and legal sectors, Bart oversees the management of client portfolios, ensuring that investment strategies align with client goals and objectives. He joined CCTC in April 2023 after serving as Chief Financial Officer/Financial Analyst at Farm Flight in Tempe, Arizona.
Before joining Farm Flight, Bart spent 15 years at American Century Investments in Kansas City, Missouri, where he worked as a Senior Investment Analyst on the Small Cap Value team covering various sectors, including healthcare, banking, consumer staples, REIT, automotive and transportation. During the four years prior, he worked as an analyst at Blackthorn Investment Group in Overland Park, Kansas, researching potential investments and implementing market-neutral investment strategies.
Bart began his career as an associate attorney at Sewell & Riggs P.C., representing clients in general litigation with an emphasis on admirality claims. He later worked as an associate attorney and partner at Strasburger & Price LLP, representing physicians, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers in civil litigation matters.
Bart earned an MBA with concentrations in finance and economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also holds a Juris Doctor degree from Baylor University School of Law and a bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in philosophy from Texas Christian University. Bart is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
