Dakota E. McMahon, CFA, is an Associate Portfolio Manager with Country Club Trust Company. Dakota works directly with individual and institutional clients to develop investment strategies to help them towards meeting their goals and objectives. He also assists in managing and constructing the firm’s internal equity strategies as well as assisting in monitoring and analyzing all fixed income for Country Club Trust Company.
Before joining Country Club Trust Company, Dakota was a Senior Associate at State Street in Kansas City, Missouri, where he managed investor operations for various domestic and internationally held mutual funds.
Dakota earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and international business from Washburn University and also spent time abroad studying with students in Wuhan, Hubei, China. He is a CFA® charterholder and an active member of the CFA Society of Kansas City.
In addition to his professional work, Dakota has volunteered for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program in Kansas City. Additionally, Dakota enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his wife and Golden Retriever, Roger.
