Scott Carrithers

Present Position

Managing Director of Sales and Marketing within the Capital Markets Group of Country Club Bank, Kansas City. His primary responsibilities include the development and management of a team of sales professionals who service investment relationships across the country. Duties also include the marketing of the Country Club Bank Capital Markets Group, as well as managing the relationships of the many national and state trade associations. Scott also serves as a member of the bank’s Asset Liability and Investment Committee.

Background

Scott graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a B.B.A in Finance and began his career in finance and banking with State Street as an investment accountant for the Berger and Oberweis Fund families. Thereafter, he joined U.S. Central of Lenexa, Kansas where he spent the next decade serving in several different capacities, but primarily as a trader and portfolio manager of a short duration portfolio which averaged $18 billion in total assets. He also served as a member of the team selected to build an asset-backed commercial paper conduit. Scott was named to manage and run the conduit as its sole manager in addition to his duties with the short-term portfolio.

In late 2009, Mr. Carrithers was named the National Accounts Member Sales Officer for the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) in Dallas, Texas. He managed the relationships, including funding and specific leverage strategies, for all publically traded members and those with assets greater than $5 billion.

Scott joined Country Club Bank’s Capital Markets Group in March 2013.

Volunteer Activities:

Scott currently serves on the Board of the Kansas City First Tee as its Chairman and President. The First Tee is a youth development organization that enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, the First Tee strives to create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do.
